Lavazza espresso machine is a machine to make espresso coffee. Espresso coffee is very popular in Japan nowadays. People always use it for drinking after meals. In some restaurants, you will find Lavazza on the table and customers can use them freely. The following describes how to make espresso with your home Lavazza espresso maker machine.
Pour water into the water tank of your Lavazza espresso maker machine until the maximum level lines up with the lower line of the “MAX” mark (Max: 300ml). Then put ground coffee into the basket and place the basket onto the portafilter. Close it firmly but don’t push down too hard, or you will damage the portafilter clean arm by putting pressure on it. Please refer to instructions for how to lock the portafilter.
The device shows “BAR” and “POWER”. Press the button for one second to start your machine. It will heat up automatically after a long press (approximately 5 seconds) of the POWER button. It starts “START,” keep pressing the START button until it indicates the desired volume of espresso, then remove your finger from the START button.
The device is heating coffee through this process, so you can now wait for 15-20 seconds approximately and enjoy the aroma of freshly brewed espresso. If you want another cup, please repeat steps 4 to 6 again. Please note that if you leave your hand on START or STOP buttons, the device will stop operating immediately as overheating protection mechanism.

To turn on your Lavazza coffee machine, you should first check if it is plugged in. If it isn’t, plug it into an appropriate wall outlet. Then, make sure that the switch on top of the machine is set to “I” (on).

To turn off your Lavazza coffee machine, unplug it from any nearby outlets and then set the switch to “O” (off).
How long does it take my Lavazza espresso maker to heat up?
Your device will start heating immediately once you press the START button. Typically, your machine takes 20-25 seconds to heat up before beginning the brewing process. Without water inside the tank, your device will beep and flash a message. Follow the instructions to fill the tank with clean, cold water before pressing the START again.
How do I open my coffee machine to refill the water reservoir/ change the coffee filter?
Please turn off your Lavazza espresso maker and unplug it from any nearby outlets. Then, set the switch on top of your device to “O” (off). The next step is essential: make sure you’re familiar with how everything looks before proceeding since you’ll have to put everything back together in reverse order!
Now, remove all of the screws on top using a Phillips #00 Screwdriver. You can find them all on either side of the control panel (one yellow and two black screws, the yellow one located under the START button).
Once you have unscrewed all of them, gently pull up on the top portion of your coffee machine and then lift it off. Be careful not to spill any water from the tank or put too much pressure on the control panel since both are delicate pieces!
Instructions for the Lavazza Espresso Point
The Lavazza Espresso Point is one of the most advanced Lavazza coffee machines on the market. You’ll find it in nearly every restaurant and hotel in Italy and Japan! It includes a display screen, two buttons for manual selection, a receptacle for used capsules (discarding them), two baskets for fresh/used capsules (one located on top of the other) and a water tank.
Filling up the Water Tank
The water tank holds approximately 1 liter of water, which should be enough to brew about 50 espresso cups or 20 lungo cups. Before brewing your first cup of Lavazza with this machine, make sure you’ve filled up your water tank right below MAX level line.
If there’s no room left at all, it’ll leak and spill out, so try to avoid it! Unplug your device from any nearby electrical outlet to fill the water tank, and then unscrew the two black screws (one located on either side of the control panel) using a Phillips.
Unscrew them as much as you can. Then lift up on the top portion of your Lavazza Espresso Point and carry it over to an appropriate sink where you can gently pour in cold water until it reaches MAX level line. Don’t forget to replace the parts onto your coffee machine after filling up with water!
Taking Out Fresh Capsules
Before taking out new capsules, ensure that your display screen is set to “RUN” mode and that there’s no power outage. If there is, make sure to wait until the power comes back on before continuing your brewing process.
Take out one capsule at a time and discard it into the trash receptacle. Then, take another new capsule and put it in its appropriate place on top of the other basket (the basket located under the display screen). Ensure that your Lavazza Espresso Point machine features an easy-to-remove cover that allows more direct access to what’s going inside!

Once the machine has been plugged in, the display screen will turn on automatically, and then you’ll be able to navigate through its various options using either of the two buttons located beneath it. The Lavazza Espresso Point is truly one of a kind!
